8. when the law's against you, argue the facts.
when the facts are against you, argue the law.
When the facts and law are against you, bullshit, lie through your teeth, make shit up and accuse others.

I figured out why Gaffney on on this show. Such moronic ideas really show their stupid side when any light shines on them.

7. Tweety has nailed him
and so has David Corn. He calls on the Constitution when it suits him and supported Bush's violation of said document.

11. Wonder why David sounded so whiney today? He usually is more forceful in his arguments
Especially with Gaffney.

Maybe he knew Matthews was going to let Gaffney run with it and show his stupidity to the world.

13. Gaffney can be very intimidating. He made a wuss out of Barnicle a week or
so ago when Mike was covering for Chris.

19. But I have seen David on with Gaffney before and he was more forceful
Maybe he is not feeling good or was told to back off.

14. methinks that was desperation.
Gaffney probably sees exactly what the GOP's future will be, and he hates it.

You know, tomorrow will be a very important day for us. If the teabagging fails, that is the end of them. Seriously. If they grab several hundred thousand total protesters, then their life support continues.

I think that this will be the make it or break it event that finally shows where America is heading.

17. I caught that. Chris NEVER lets go when he knows he's right. I'm sure he'll
probably bring it up again on tomorrow's show.

20. why did matthews not ask him why we can applaud charges against
other countries and yet somehow these laws don't apply to us!! at least matthews spoke up about bush crossing the line when he said we were going to go in and force democracy on other countries. gaffney didn't like that. but, how can we have any credibility in regards to people like mugabe or any other leader who does bad things when we won't even hold our own leaders accountable or respect the treaties that we ourselves have signed and promised to abide by!!!
