While some hunt eggs
others dance:

Spent the day at the Palouse Pow Wow at WSU. If you ever get the chance to see one don't pass it up, they are a very beautiful experience.

3. My husband's family is Indian.. We are supposed to go to the Pow Wow this summer
It would be my first one. I'm kind of excited to meet some of his family that I've never gotten to meet. We eloped and live in FL; most of his family is still in NC and live near the reservation.

4. Beautiful images
Other images that cannot be shown because photos are not allowed are of Native American Ceremonies. I am glad that Native Americans are allowed to have their pow wows but much more glad that they are able to follow their own spiritual traditions and are no longer forced to adopt Christianity if they don't want to.

I try to go every year when the Pow Wow comes to Austin, TX in November. Absolutely beautiful culture.

6. I used to go the one in Tehachapi, my x gf made the beaded purses for them
It was the first time I had ever seen something like that, and I loved it. We had a teepee there (never realized how big they were inside) and I so wish now I had had a camera back then.

Thanks for sharing the pics, brought back some good memories!
