Morality in Media: 'the link between gay marriage and mass murders'
Connecting the Dots: The Link Between Gay Marriage and Mass Murders. Yes, that is the subject of a press release by Robert Peters, President of Morality in Media. I sh*t you not. These people are so sick in the head and detached from reality that I can't envision anyone taking them seriously, but the sheeple out there do. He somehow manages to connect the dots from the slide of morality in society -- embodied by acceptance of marriage equality by a growing number of states and other cultural changes -- to gun-wielding crazies blazing away. Yeah.
On April 4 the NY Times ran adjacent front-page articles on the Iowa Supreme Court decision legalizing 'gay marriage' and the gunman who murdered 13 people in New York. That day the Times also ran an op ed article by Charles M. Blow who expressed concern about the negative impact that conservative media's "talk of revolution" could have on "weak minds."
..."This secular value system is also reflected in the 'sexual revolution,' which is the driving force behind the push for 'gay marriage;' and the Iowa Supreme Court decision is another indication that despite all the damage this revolution has caused to children, adults, family life and society (think abortion, divorce, pornography, rape, sexual abuse of children, sexually transmitted diseases, trafficking in women and children, unwed teen mothers and more), it continues to advance relentlessly.

"It most certainly is not my intention to blame the epidemic of mass murders on the gay rights movement! It is my intention to point out that the success of the sexual revolution is inversely proportional to the decline in morality; and it is the decline of morality (and the faith that so often under girds it) that is the underlying cause of our modern day epidemic of mass murders.

Did you know that Morality in Media received YOUR TAX DOLLARS to do its work?

2. sounds like he is rambling about his own personal issues
anytime there is a shift of change and progression, people react..decline in morality...wtf..is he talking about..morality for whom, him? the notion that 2 people of the same gender can get married and access the thousands of legal and civil rights they could otherwise not have is HIGHLY MORAL! It is Morality in Action.
mass murders, or the ones I read about where a guy takes out his entire family, is a huge temper tantrum being staged by a person who happens to own a gun.I have seen 2 yr olds have temper tantrums. Put that same temper tantrum in the body of a 50 yr old who owns a rifle and you have a problem.
I doubt people were thinking about gay marriage when they blasted their loved ones. they were thinking about foreclosure, and no jobs, and their own selfish anger that they didnt get their way or they were angry from some unresolved issue they couldnt maturely deal with that set them off.
really, people like this fellow just spout off and talk out their arse without thinking.
