Why dont you use your vacation time and go to Iraq and show us how safe it is.

Please, we'd love to see footage of you walking safely on the streets of Baghdad at noon.

Show us this great progress we have been making.

Come on straight talk express, put your money where your mouth is.

3. Heard a couple of days ago that he's heading over there
for a few days. The snoozehoney didn't say whether his good buddy Joe Lieberman was tagging along or not, but I'd bet he has his brown leather bomber jacket packed!

5. I wonder if he will try to pull off a scam on folks
Remember when that Congressman took pics of a street scene in Turkey and tried to pretend it was in Baghdad?

8. That's a great idea. Show the media they're wrong about Iraq.
He could take a nice stroll through a Sadr City market, sit down in a street cafe and order some felafel and then go to a Sunni mosque and say a few prayers for peace.

Since things are so great over there they wouldn't need to bother the troops wouldn't about providing extra security. Security details would just get in the way of his meeting all those happy Iraqis.

9. Ha, in the same vein this morning they tried to get Imus to go over to visit Iraq
Since Imus and Lieberman are close buddies, Imus may somewhat believe the Americans can walk Iraqi streets unarmored spiel Lieberman keeps spewing.

Imus wasn't buying the Iraqi visit. He was afraid he'd catch a disease or something.
