2. That's not what was dumb here
He was lost on a railway line - a train was coming and the jackass needed to be told to get out of the car. But hey it was his Ferrari. He must have been beyond drunk.

4. But wait--there's more
When he told the 911 operator that his car was stuck on a train track and a train was coming, the operator had to suggest that he get out the car--which he described as a Ferrari. Then you hear the sound of an impact, and then he sighs, "It's gone..."

5. A friend in college, shitfaced drunk, once called 911
Edited on Fri Apr-03-09 08:10 PM by alcibiades_mystery
to complain that we'd run out of beer in the dorm room. Needless to say, beer wasn't allowed in the dorm rooms, and the campus police were at the door in under five minutes.

Jackass. Took him a while to live down that one.

On a related note, I once left a wounded soldier - half a 40 of Crazy Horse - in this guy's room when we went out to the bar. As was the rule, you had to drink the rest of any wounded soldier whenever it was found, even if somebody had put a cigarette out in it. When we got back from the bar, I was called out and told to drink the 40. I guzzled the entire warm swill without hesitation, much to everyone's astonishment. That was a good reputation. So drunk you call 911 on yourself? That would be a bad reputation.

;-)
