"Schwarzenegger Opens 'Obamaville' for Homeless"
The rightwingnuts are determined to lay this mess at Obama's doorstep. Nice try, but I don't think that even the dumbshits in this country are gonna believe a guy who's been in office less than three months caused this mess.

"California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, reacting to a nationally famous make-shift tent city for the homeless spouting up in Sacramento, is ordering that it be shut down and its residents transferred to the state fairgrounds.

The tent city, which has long existed along the banks of the America River, gained national attention last month when some of its recently homeless residents were featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show.

But it is only one of dozens, perhaps hundreds, which are now being erected around the country, according to The New York Times. Shanty towns and tent cities are not only popping up in large urban areas, according to the paper, but also in smaller towns."

1. I wrote a few days back that we need to brand these tent cities
as Bushvilles... or something. Hoovervilles as a brand has lasted 80 years.
These are Bushcities.

3. I thought newsmax on here was verboten. What's the point of
giving them any hits? They're delusional, we all know it. I just can't go there.

6. Never got the word ....
Is there a list of "verbotens"?

I almost included in my post that I had included all the salient points, so hitting Newsmax was unnecessary. I'll do that next time.

7. I think some sources are,
like Lew Rockwell, or at least it used to be.

I didn't mean to rain on your parade, but they are just too silly to me. I know they're out there for the followers of Hannity, et al, but I guess I prefer reality.

12. There's not an actual list (at least not last time I looked)...
You'll know you linked to a Verboten if the mods lock your thread.

It's kinda trial-and-error from our end, as posters.
PrisonPlanet and Rense are 2 that that are definitely verboten;
I'm not sure about NewsMax. I guess we'll find out , eh?

10. They're stupid too.
It's 'American river' not 'America river'.

4. From the same people who would starve them all to death and say "let them eat cake"
I will not tolerate smearing of this commander in chief.

Won't tolerate it at all.

8. So does Arnold really want to tie himself to Bush?
Because, trying to pawn this off on Obama brings up the subject of who was really in charge when things went to hell.

These are Bushvilles, pure and simple.

9. It was Newsmax's creation of "Obamaville", not Arnold's....

In the article, there is absolutely no mention of President Obama. But, what would you expect from a right wing tabloid?
