The Department Of Defense briefed the President this morning. They told President Obama that 2 Brazilian soldiers were killed in Iraq.

To everyone's surprise, all the color drained from Obama's face.

Then he collapsed onto his desk, head in his hands, visibly shaken, almost in tears. Finally, he composed himself and asked, "Just how many is a brazilian?'"

This is not surprising, since he obviously has no understanding of billion or trillion either.

To every one's surprise, all the color drained from Obama's face.

Then he picked up the phone, called the Brazilian ambassador to send his condolences, and asked if Bush had put the embassy on speed dial. The DOD representative blurted out "Bush couldn't even dial a phone, and you think he could program the speed dialer?"

After everyone finished their chuckle, they got back to the business of running the country.

We can find humor with our legislators but the GOP are such a target rich environment that the jokes almost write themselves.
