Do NOT use Members Mark Hand Sanitizers
Fox 5 News-Atlanta did a comparison of Hand Sanitizers, Members Mark was the only sanitizer that consistently INCREASED the amount of bacteria present after each use. Members Mark is sold at Sam's Club stores. It is the best bargain but obviously ineffective. Not sure what this says about their other products...

4. Another reason not to shop at Sam's or Wally World.
It INCREASED the bacteria??? Does it add its own special bacteria to your hands? Great.

5. All hand sanitizers should be done away with
Study after study has shown that using anti-bacterial anything simply leads to stronger and more virulent strains of that bacteria, evolution in action. Meanwhile kids aren't getting the opportunity to build up their immune systems fully because parents are increasingly encasing them in a sanitary bubble in the mistaken notion of keeping them safe and disease free. Hell, I even read of some cases where kids were prescribed by their doctor to go out and play in the dirt in order to build up their immune systems.

Use of these antibacterial products is doing you, your kids and our society no favors. Instead, just use good ol' soap and water.

14. My kids have the best immune systems in the word
We use the 1 minute rule instead of the 10 second rule. If it drops on the floor you have a minute to pick it up and eat it.

:D

Nasty can sometimes be beneficial, no?

:D

6. What Mad Hound said.
Washing hands with ordinary soap and water on a regular basis is the single best public health measure ever. Hand sanitizers are a Very Bad Idea.

16. I don't believe in gel type hand sanitizers
What I mean is, I don't see how some gel that you rub on your hands could do as good a job as scrubbing with something that dissolves skin oils, and rinsing it off.
