Corporate America's Retirement Plan for Baby Boomers...

The American Empire is a voracious beast and Boomer Retirement money is the new feeding ground...

Social Security? Between the Iraq War, the Bank Bailouts and Bush's Tax cuts, the lockbox has been jimmied open and raided.

401K or IRA? See "stock market crash"

Private Pension? See http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=post&forum=389&topic_id=5356898&mesg_id=5356898

Savings in the equity of your home? Who will buy when there's a glut of foreclosure on the market?

And what's truley remarkable is how little protest is going on over this. Seems to me that the A-Bomb generation is completely blind to raids as long as they're 5 to 10 years out...

7. Born in 1953, never gonna retire...
I'd love to really, but between all the money I and my family have lost in this wonderful economy, I know I will work until I literally can't, and after that... well, who knows anymore?

8. Nevermind, without health insurance we probably wouldn't make it to retirement anyway.

9. I was born in 53 too....
I also see no path to retirement. And I'm better setup than most I know.

This will NOT be pretty...
