For Treasury, too few cooks can spoil the stew...
Some are concerned that President Obama is not getting the full picture on this financial crisis. In his campaign, he said that he would appoint Republicans to his Cabinet, which he did. He said that he wanted as many views as possible before he made his decision.

The Treasury Dept seems to be an exception? So far, there has only been one person to be confirmed at the department - Timothy Geithner. Who else is President Obama listening to? Where are the opposing views on this most critical issue? Who else has the President's ear? Where are the Krugmans, the Stiglitz's, the Galbreaths, and others?

Bluntly put, the people do not have complete faith in Tim Geithner. If they only knew that the President was getting other advice, even if he took the advice of Geithner, they would feel much better about the whole situation. This is not meant as criticism, only an observation.

1. Oh, the difference a 'k' makes.
When I first read the headline I thought it said "For Treasury, too few kooks can spoil the stew..."

Guess I better make my font a bit bigger here at work ;)
