1. That is a school of "last resort". Kids have been expelled from other schools.

A lot of people felt that was just way over the line to cover it so much. A local paper had it splashed all over the front page.

6. Well since there have been threads on this already...

I suppose DU has no integrity, either. (Although perhaps that's a given...)

And every time I see one of these threads, I can't hwelp but wonder just what the poster thinks is "appropriate" news. Are all human interest or oddball pieces now to be banned from the airwaves in the name of "integrity"? Or, perhaps "integrity" means something more like getting the facts straight, whether it be farts or finances.

A person has to have that special star next to their name for contributing money to a site that has 800-rec posts that read "Pelosi is a traitor". That aside, I guess you know what news is so how about you tell us, what should we all be getting our news from?

least a dozen posts I've seen today making trivial complaints about some media outlet or other. It gets tiresome after a while, but at least you weren't repeating some of O'Rielly's bullshit.

(A dozen-- I think that's about average around here. Just the ones I see, anyway.)
