"When I Hear The Constant Vilification Of Corporate America I Personally Don't Understand It”
-- JPMorgan CEO

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Some people? If they gave money to Bush or McCain? And then say shit like that? Need to be fired, liquidated, and forced to work for minimum wage at Long John Silver's, while the proceeds are distributed amongst the homeless and foreclosed.

Socialism?

Nah. Logic. Fairness. Justice.

1. They need to live in a housing project
And turn every resident into a millionaire. Since they have all the economic answers. That's what I think. Just one housing project. Send each one of these CEO assholes to one housing project a piece. Let them see what they have wrought and make them responsible to fix it.

3. Oh, if pressed for the logic, I would recommend perhaps
the harried assistant, or just the next perhaps-now-more-sobered-and-less-mouthy CEO in line.

12. Yup. It isn't, after all, the CEOs that actually RUN the businesses.
Their executive assistants probably know far more about the actual business than they do.

Most the CEOs, you turn them loose on the street with a new ID and $100, and they will be lost. They don't really know how to DO jack shit.

The assistants, you do the same, and they'll be working for another CEO withing days - because they got the skills.

14. 'Fraid not-- sorry.

There are people still in place that shouldn't be, but last November saw the electoral equivalent of tossing out failed executives. No one has a magic wand that will wisk away all the crooked people and leave a fresh pine scent, but what could be done by the populace recently was done.

The same is not true for Wall Street, but should be-- as soon as possible.

18. Yes-- they're who I was referring to when I said "some people"
who need be removed. I agree that Obama needs to sweep this people out and replace them. But if you agree that they need to go, why would you defend the CEOs by saying they *shouldn't*?

There is a hell of a lot of principal to pay off, though.

10. Aren't you just so witty.
Just like the guys at the bottom of the shit heap, the ones at the top are just as replaceable. They are not the John Galts they envision themselves to be. Just like any niche in nature, remove them and someone will fill the spot just as adequately.

6. Have you checked out what Goldman Sachs & JP Morgan gave to Obama ? John McCain was
on the losng end of the Wall Street politician's support system.

But I am for every politician giving up to charity every last dollar that they raked in from Wall Street firm employees. McCain, Clinton, Obama, Dodd, Bush---all of it.

8. Smart Idea
Once upon a time people ran for office because they wanted to do good for the country. Now it seems they run for office so they can become rich.
Money corrupts as we have seen. This kind of buying of politicians needs to be stopped. And no one can tell me that those Senators, Representatives who rake in a gazillion dollars (campaign or otherwise)from corporations (or any entity) don't have a soft spot for such when votes come up that will affect said corporations.
Our government is in deep trouble. Every single Senator/Representative should be investigated and judged for the taking of money from outside sources, and their subsequent votes...if an honest person could be found to investigate. I don't think there are many of them left.

Let's face it we are, mostly, an apathetic bunch of voters and it's hurting America.

13. The monied class is sure spending a lot of time trying to convince us that...
they're just like us - except they make more in a quarter than we can hope to in a decade. But why quibble about the details? Our lives are identical in all the ways that matter. :sarcasm:

Yep, just like us.

Due to high paid Tax accountants, lawyers, lobbyists, and Capital Gains taxes (yes, they pay a lesser percentage in taxes for most of their income).

16. This only proves how out of touch they really are. They have an
entitlement mentality that is unbelievable.

Screw up the economy and still believe you are entitled to be "loved"
and respected???? Wow!!
