Just a humorous thought RE: president says he wouldn't accept Geithner's resignation

Just wondering what if Geitherner turned in his resignation, the president told him he isn't accepting it but Tim had already packed his shit up and just drove off. You know left town, stopped working, took a job somewhere else. Is the government going to just keep sending him his paycheck?
