Evidently, you do not read Kathleen Parker very often because she has been one of Obama's biggest supporters.

As for mouthpieces, how do you like the words coming out of the mouths of Frank Rich, Paul Krugman, Maureen Dowd and Peggy Noonan, eh? Are they "mouthpieces" for Conservatives? I can tell you that the first three would prefer to commit suicide than to be labeled a Conservative or a Republican. And, Peggy Noonan, while she was a Reagan speechwriter, has been a cheerleader for Obama.

I like quoting Scripture back at them. Right wingie-dingies here in the Sunbelt are also social reactionaries as often as not, and one of their big talking points among themselves and for people they're targeting is how religious, pious, pro-family, blah-blah-blah they are. Interestingly enough, many of these religious conservatives aren't that well versed in the Book of Books. Quoting scathing Old Testament passages denouncing those who oppress the poor from Proverbs, the Book of Psalms, and some of the Old Testament prophets is a good way to make the wing-nuts and ding-bats start twitching and slapping at imaginary flies.
