8 years of continuous crime and yet not one person has been charged
Think about it - you could go into any bookstore in the United States and find a shelf of volumes that identified the crimes of the Bush Administration, gave details of what was done and show where evidence can be found. Yet here we are a quarter of a year into the Obama Administration and not so much as a word from the Justice Department on going after the criminals. The Congress, despite its showboating has done no better.

I used to think that the folks who predicted that 'no one will go to jail' from the Bush Administration were dead wrong. Now, not so much.

2. No one will be charged
It's not Obama, its not the Democrats - its the system.

Democrats know that if they go after Bush, the Republicans will dig up everything they learned while wiretapping under the Bush years. Obama knows this and wants to at least keep a skeleton staff.

3. Please, can we stop the "8 years" thing.
It's 28 years. Really, it's longer than that. The Bush Crime Family has been committing treason for the better part of a century, including some of the worst crimes imaginable.

But - in the context of the economic devastation AND the crimes committed in the name of "defense" - you MUST go back to at least 1980.

4. It's only been 2 months since Bush left office
If the Justice Department is going to prosecute Bush, first an investigation must take place.....that could in itself take years (books in a bookstore are not evidence). There are probably tens of thousands of paperwork/emails that must be examined (if they can find them), witnesses to interview (if they are willing to talk), etc.. It takes time to build a case, especially when you are proposing prosecuting a former President of the United States.

37. If there were any kind of investigation it would have been leaked
If you think it could be kept secret you don't know the Justice Dept.

Agreed. Somewhat amusing how many people on the internets think they are investigative journalists cause they can use youtube.

6. Ever worked in the law or law enforcement?
This is unrealistic.

Who is willing to testify against the Bush crime family and how much evidence did they destroy.

How to prove it all? That is what has to be done under our system and it is just not easy.

7. Let some one or more other countries do the investigations and haul them
to the world court. Another advantage would be it would mute the political charges that would be levied against the Democrats if any US government agency(s) went after them.
There are enough crimes from Iraq alone to break the back of the criminals.

27. People with their wishfull thinking.
Most folks are far more concerned about their economic future then in investigating the prior administration. Also, Congress rarely moves on much of anything unless circumstances demand so or there there is a public outcry that is impossible to ignore.

Wrong. We are very good students of history. We know, for instance, that if you surrender to the idea that you can't change things then you never MAKE history. We intend to MAKE history and we're willing to fight like hell to do it. We aren't willing to throw our hands in the air and say that we can't change things because history is not on our side.

12. The USA is an insane nation with mostly rational people.
In recent history we have had the Vietnam war, the Savings & loans scandal, and the explosion of the National debt--just to repeat similar problems in the past 8 years. Not only do we not prosecute we don't learn either.
