All politicians and business leaders can suck it.
I don't know why I'm surprised at the news of TARP money going to politicians' campaign warchests. Really. It's my fault for believing that there were a few of them, at least, who were still honest and forthright.

They're all crooks -- in business, in both political parties, from top to bottom. We're hypnotized by shiny new gadgets and great orators while they're picking our pockets.

1. do you have a link for this?
I hadn't heard that TARP money was going to politicians -- if it is, they need to give it BACK to the government.

2. A lot of people, on both sides of the political aisle, are increasingly thinking that way.
Still, Obama vs McCain... We're all rather better off with Obama, I should think...

4. Yeah.
Kind of like having a broken arm is better than a broken leg. You can deal with one a little easier and still get around, but it's still a pain and it still sucks.

7. There's too much partisan "my team is better than yours" attitude, unfortunately.
The people excusing the Obama admin and the Dems are no better than the people who excused the Bush admin and the Repubs.
