3. If I drank that much water a day, I'd get my exercise
going back and forth to the bathroom all the time.

As far as I know, that 8 glasses a day thing was just a myth that someone started and everyone picked up - not based in science. Obviously, a 100lb woman and 250lb man need different amounts.

9. Refining these suggestions
Eat small meals--but make sure what you eat is right for you. Check to find out if you have food sensitivities or allergies. Eating the right foods for you can actually prevent diseases. For example, I have a family history of diabetes and hypoglycemia--and so I eat a low-glycemic diet.


Drinking water is great--but check the quality of your water. Drinking water out of plastic containers can mess up your hormones. Drinking tap water can mean you are drinking things you don't need. Best to drink filtered water or spring water in ceramic or steel containers.

12. Oh, screw that meditation stuff! Go for the stress.
Because maybe you'll live longer if you meditate, but you'll for sure be bored for longer as well!

Here's my prescription for a happy life in 2 steps.

1)Figure out what makes you happy.

2)Do it.
