The names are important.

From the House: Obey, Rangel, Waxman, Lewis (CA), and Camp.
From the Senate: Inouye; Baucus; Reid; Cochran; Grassley.

So the culprits are among the above.
The only one I could eliminate out of hand is Waxman.
Rangel is as crooked as a snake and would not be above this....AND he is from Wall Street.

I want to know FOR SURE.
I am SICK of legislation being modified in secret.
There should be SOME way for the American Public to hold the thieves accountable.

We, the American people, may elect Congress. But sadly they work for someone or something else. We may sign their paychecks, but their loyalties are with another. Irregardless of party affiliation, most of Congress is owned lock, stock and oil barrel, and are as much accomplices to the current financial pillage as if they drove the get-away vehicle. The predator class and their collaborators the American Congress, are in the process of bleeding us dry. Our country, it's resources, it's people, even our CHILDREN, are being strip mined to fatten already bulging wallets. The old and infirm are abandoned, children go hungry, and the rich get even richer.

They didn't even invite the Dems to the conference meetings.

It's how some of the worst stuff got done during Bush's terms.
