I cannot believe it: I got a job.

After all this time, and now, I actually have a job. It's with a big Telecommunications provider, as a work-at-home High Speed Internet support person. Pay is unexciting to start, but bennies kick in after a short bit, lots of incentives, lots of opportunities for advancement and the company does not seem, yet, to be completely demented. In fact, the whole thing reeks of someone having read Christopher Locke's marketing magnum opus, "Gonzo Marketing" and acting upon his suggestions. I am in tele-training right now, and it's actually fun and informative.

On the other hand, my graphics card has chosen now to take a small but bothersome crap in the bed. Neat. Ain't technology grand. My new one will be here today.

So yay for me. Or something. It's gonna be interesting to get a paycheck for being a Bull Goose Geek.

And no, I am not leaving WNT, or anything like that. I have 4 years of my life in that and Tace is too good a friend and work partner to walk away from for a few bucks. I don't think there is enough money to get me to do that.
