I rented the movie through Netflix - If you get a chance to see this film, I recommend it.
What a gentleman Carter is. I have always known this but I was quite impressed as Jonathan Demme's cameras followed President Carter as he slogged his way through his book tour promoting "Palestine - Peace Not Apartheid" - The behind the scenes look at Carter as he answered phone calls from the media and spoke about his book with talking heads like Larry King and Wolf Blitzer illuminate just how the media spins a story to promote their own best interest. Alan Dershowittz is caught in a lie but Demme is savvy enough to allow the viewer to draw their own conclusion. I was deeply touched by Carter as he humbly accepted ridicule, criticism and outright attacks on his character & motivations.
