MIAMI, Florida (CNN) -- A man shot and killed four people before turning the gun on himself in Miami, Florida, early Sunday morning, police said.


Police tape cordons off a home in Miami, Florida, after police responded early Sunday to reports of shots fired.

1 of 2 Police responding to reports of gunshots shortly after midnight found four bodies behind a house.

Witnesses told officers they saw a pickup truck leave the area.

Soon afterward, 911 dispatchers received a call about a vehicle and a house in flames, followed by the sounds of gunshots, police said.

At the scene, police found a man dead of a gunshot wound.
