yesterday I turned Beck on because someone here at DU said he was crying.

I dived for the remote, but he'd pulled himself together by then, dammit.

Anyway, I left it on, doing other things, and he was in the background. The few things I heard were intellectually dishonest, pandering, smarmy, and just plain brainless.

His audience ate it up.

Then he started explaining the 9/12 thing, and it was so bloody inane, I think I went into some sort of coma.

The guy's a snake oil salesman of the worst kind. Jimmie Swaggart and Jim Baaker have nothing on Beck..................

6. The only thing I seen was Beck questioning someone who wrote a book...

And this guy was telling him that they all needed to stick together and maintain a relationship with each other, or they would be dead within the next 6 or 9 years. Evidently he had some proof to back it up.

Translation: The Conservative Republican Movement is DEAD, and they are trying everything to rally their troops back to their Glory Days... BushCo. & Republicans, Inc. screwing the country up.

8. Such a scam-- it's hilarious to hear this whole, "the system has been

perverted!" line clearly in reference to Obama, when the guy's been in office for all of 2 months and has already done 10 times more good than Bush did in 8 years.
