And if Franken could gain something by getting that database, why would he announce to the donors that he had their names? No. This is a prank by someone or some sort of vengeance being done by a disgruntled Coleman staffer. Something like that.

The election review is in the courts. Franken is focusing his energy and resources on the court fight, not on who is financing Franken's campaign. Franken probably knows pretty much or can guess who is supporting Coleman without needing to see the database. Franken's supporters have probably made the calls and talked to people. This has nothing to do with Franken.
