Mom died 43 years ago today
And seemingly I love her more and more as the years go by. I didn't have her long but I'm very happy for the time we had together. Then I married a wonderful person who has taken care of my sorry ass for 35 years. I've been truly blessed.

1. I'm sure your Mom was a wonderful person.
I lost my Mom when I was very young, back in 1976. And I think of her often. It's strange to be the age I am now, realizing that I'm older than my Mom was when she died. She was a great lady, and I love her very much still.

I lost my Dad this past August, and I'm happy that I had the opportunity to spend more time with him over the years.

I'm sure your Mom is very proud of you, and she's still very much alive in your thoughts and memories.

She's in a better place than both of us, I'm certain.

2. If you're a reflection of your mom, then she must have been a good woman.
(I lost my Dad this past August as well, Boss (8/25/09). We had a balls-out, full military honors funeral at Arlington (caisson, Navy honor guard with full band, 21 gun salute). He would have loved it.

3. God Bless you and your Daddy My Friend
I wish him and you continued fair winds. I missed my Mom the most when something good was happening to me in the Navy and she wasn't there to share.

5. Aww, Boss...

I lost my Mom in 2002, and still think of her every single day.

I'm sure on some level, your Mom has stayed with you all these years.

6. Sad and sweet
I know the feeling.
The 26th anniversary of dad's death is next week. Time sure flies but we have lovely memories for as long as we live.
