He says its his money, his choice to give or not, and where he chooses to give.

Here would be my response:

It is your choice because a system made by man has distributed to you wealth. And within that system is rules that govern society, one of those rules is some of the money you get belongs to you to spend as you will, another one of those rules is part of your money will be taken to help those that not everyone with money will think about.

You may be able to list many ways you choose to help people, but there are many that do not help people, who like you have much money, that in part, was given to them by our system. If nobody who was rich helped another, would you see it as a duty for society to take from them to save starving people on the streets? what if only some helped? If a man stood in front of a starving child with a truck full of food he would never have the time to eat, would you stand by and watch child after child starve around his truck, or would you do or say something. What if the guy looked at you and just said the food was all his, he will do with it what he wants?

I am pretty sure you probably think your money is a blessing and given to you because you will be best able to use it, and pass that blessing to 'deserving' causes. Well just maybe the system of government that also takes money to be used for the good of society is also created by a blessing, used to help those who are struggling, many who work hard every day.

How do you pick which person is worthy of your gifts of your money? Those you judge as having earned it based on your values of an economic system? Your values of a religious belief? What is your claim to have the right to judge? And just maybe, people taxing you, is society as a whole making that same judgment of you, and weather you are worthy to decide who should be helped in society.

You asked for some pictures, here are a few.
Could you tell me which people in these pictures deserve to be helped, if any, by your money.

If making such a decision is tough, or you can not think how you could possibly help them with your money, there are many people in government that specialize on creating jobs, mental health, social services, relief aid, and other causes that do help these people, that might or might not be on your list of being worthy.

7. Last week,
my son and I visited my oldest brother. He has been sadly reduced from a highly intelligent, contributing member of society, to a shell of his former self, due to the combination of a long boxing career without defensive skills, followed by years of heavy substance abuse. However, from time to time, there are flashes of the person we once knew.

At one point, unrelated to anything we were discussing, he said, "We are rich." My son and I agreed, and waited for his follow-up. Then he said, "If a person has a roof over their head, and the ability to make meals, they are rich. If a person has the resources for a million meals hidden under their roof, and refuses to share with hungry people, they are sick."

9. The Definition Of An Attention Whore
The hate radio and teevee wingnuts are having a "can you top this" contest. Face it, losing was a bonanaza for Faux...liberating...as they no longer had to defend the indefensible...and could return to the attack mode that put them on the map in the 90's. Every show on that waste of electrons is trying to outshout, out "outrage" and defy reality.

Remember, Beck is the new shitstain on the underware there...he is out to prove he's as much a "star" in the wingnut universe as O'Reilly or Hannity. He needs to draw wingnut eyeballs...and the best way is to give 'em what they want in spade...lots of conspiracies, lies, fear and hate. And, of course, it's Democrats that are the root of all problems.

I'm of the belief that not all this pissant does is based in anything more than to get attention...make noise and rise about the shouting that dominates the corporate media these days. He wishes he was Rushbo's butt boil...and working hard to achieve that goal.
