Tweety: Rush is Oprah for white guys.

Possibly the most spot-on analogy I have ever heard in my life.

Well, except that Oprah at least tries to help her viewers improve their lives.

On edit: As a way of background I should explain that Tweety went into more detail than that. He described the typical Rush listener as a white man who probably spends a lot of time in his car (maybe a trucker or in sales) he may be under a lot of stress and derives comfort from the way Rush reassures him that things are not his fault. No, Rush is NOT the same as Oprah in any way shape or form but to his legions of white male fans, he plays a similar role as Oprah does with hers.

Reason I asked you about VAWA, aside from the fact that Rushbo was in vehement opposition to it, is that the law treats violence against women differently (enhanced prosecution) and some critics say that it's unfair to men. So I'm glad to see you support it. :)

Nevertheless, I think her motivation is to "set people free," from weight issues, financial issues, emtional problems, etc.

While Pigboy's motivation is to control people.

The only thing that is the "same" about them are their paychecks.
