and in Washington DC took down the American economy....

3. What's corrupt about bundling up a few (?) trillion dollars of fraudulent/toxic assets, stamping the
unregulated securities as AAA, then peddling them to the world, all the while racking up billions of dollars in salaries, profits, and bonuses and pumping up the value of their shares of stock? Now what's corrupt about that when the capitalistic game now played is to let the boys be boys, unfettered by government interference/oversight, and privatize their ill-gotten gains with Uncle Sam coming in later to socialize (soak the taxpayers) their losses a la the way the game is now playing out. :shrug: :P

4. GM withdrew corporate funding today for Ken Burns
I imagine some other firm will see this as a way to enhance its image, but GM is ceasing support for Ken Burns PBS work. Probably says more about GM's dire state than public TV.
