This is the stuff of fucking Joseph Stalin! The fucking dictator that killed millions of his own people and terrorized his entire nation and the world for 25 to 75 years!

Our country stands for the same thing Stalin stood for if Siegelman doesn't see Rove frog marched into solitary oblivion.

5. I have mixed feelings on a lot of the Siegelman coverage...
...I think Don Siegelman was indeed guilty of his crimes, just as every politician is. It is a fact of the matter that political influence is for sale, it happens everywhere and is a long standing and oft ignored tradition in Alabama. I think it stinks and I don't like seeing it in politics. I wish it were prosecuted more often.

That said, I have no problem believing Siegelman was singled out in a fashion or that Rove was involved. Why not? It would make an interesting toy/experiment for Karl and friends, plus Don was an easy mark.

I think both sides of this story are dirty as hell and wish the condemnation and transparency were equally distributed.
