2. The campus looked neat with all the kids and dogs playing
and making snowmen. For a few hours everyone just forgot the mess we're in and had some fun.

That was nice, winter and it all.. But where I live in Norway, we have more or less 2 meter with snow now..ca 6-7 feet?) (no kidding, in the first snowfall it was coming 45cm with snow, whole Asker where I live was almost at standstill for days) And I am already starting to be tired about the whole white thing... If WANT to be a place with a warm sunny Beach, and some weird looking umbrella drink.. (Non alcoholic)

What was the music they was playing, have never heard that before..

5. Don't know about the music.
Someone just sent me the link. I live in East Alabama, and we rarely receive any measurable snowfall. It's usually 60-70 degrees here -- today the high was 75.

Okay, sad, because I liked the music;) It looks like it was very nice there you are, and all the snow must be a experience in itself of sorts?... On the other hand, it must be weird to go true a whole winter, with little or no snow at all?.. The few year that have happened here, it have been unusual, even that the 1990s was unusual in many ways, with little snow, most raining and a lot of ice... Funny I do not broke a bone or two...

Have been living here I am now for the last 10 year, and all this snow I have experienced the last winter is just, horrible.. Have had problems parking my car because of all the snow.. Even had need some help to get the car out in the morning sometimes... But, if I had parked with the back first.. No problem at all to drive true 10-20cm with snow.. With the front... Dead stop...

I hope the summer Will be like good as the winter have been cold and with snow.. When I was a little boy I remember (1987-88) it was something like this.. A lot of snow, and I really mean SNOW, much snow.. And we had a large amount of snow behind the house to june.. In the start of june the last snow was been thrown out behind the back of the house and it melted down.. And it was a very warm summer that year... So hopefully all this snow would melt in time too..

7. Send an email to the Auburn Photographic Services
They can probably tell you about the music.

11. Snow is gorgeous if you don't have to get out in traffic, I guess.
Here in South Louisiana we get snow just every once in a while. We had a snowfall on December 11 this year & we enjoyed it, but I'm perfectly satisfied that we don't see it often. I do like warm weather & look forward to being around the pool in the summers with my iced tea & magazines. :)

I just wanted to mention that the opening for the Winter Olympics held in Norway was the most beautiful I've ever seen. The snowy, mountainous area with all the sleighs were so memorable -- wish I had taped it.

True, the Winter Games in Norway in 1994 was amazing even for us who was living there;). And it was also a struck of pure gold. Because between 1989 and 1993 it was just poring with rain all winter and nobody believed that in 1994 it would be better, or worse if you do not liked snow that is.. And in 1994, it was just amazing all this snow who was coming down and made the Winter Games at Lillehammer one amazing show of Norwegian winter... And it was cold too, -11 Celsius for the most part if I remember it right... Little chilly, but if you get your cloth right, not so cold;)

For the most part, it is easy to drive, even when it is snowing.. The traffic goes little more slow than before, and you have to use more cation when driving.. But in a country with 9 months worth of snow, you have to learn how to cope with it;).. And have some decent tires.. Then everything goes

9. I'm Southern and we didn't get even a dusting of that snow.
Knoxville's climate has so warmed because of the bowl of pollution we're in that snow has become a relic of my childhood.
