Russian women now hold 42% of senior managerial positions

Tomorrow is the International Women's Day, which is celebrated in Russia as a national holiday.

In this view, it would be appropriate to mention that according to a recent research conducted by the Grant Thornton International Business Report (IBR) women still hold less than a quarter of senior managerial positions in privately held companies globally.

At the same time the situation varies from country to country. Thus, the country where men's grip on business world has been most reduced by women is ... no, not the USA, but - Philippines, where women hold 47% of senior managerial positions. Russia holds second place in the world in this category with 42% women in senior managerial positions.
