My car is having intermittent but serious problems so I'm getting scared to drive it. I'm weighing the options of sell it and have no car, vs. buy used, vs. buy used hybrid, vs. buy new cheap car. I'm expecting to go with buy-used as I always have, but figure I should know the incentives, e.g., are the incentives only for new cars, when do the incentives end, etc.
