8. The latest that I know of her at the end of October...
She gave a speech at a Breast Cancer Forum in Troy, MI, in October. The only people that were invited were cancer victims and survivors.

Someone that I know who was in there, said she was very well received and that she gave a great speech, "sans the wedding ring".

That was the last that I know of. I have done some great work with her in the past.

Sending her great wishes in all that she does....

RALEIGH, N.C. — Elizabeth Edwards is preparing to release a new book about the "burdens and gifts of facing life's adversities."

The book, titled "Resilience" and set to be published in May, comes less than a year after Edwards' husband, former Sen. John Edwards, publicly acknowledged having an affair with a video producer in the months prior to his second campaign for president.

Publisher Broadway Books describes Elizabeth Edwards as someone who "on the surface, seems to have led a charmed life."

But the promotional materials also describe John Edwards' infidelity, along with the 1996 death of the couple's son Wade and Elizabeth Edwards' ongoing battle with breast cancer.
