CPAC: How relevant and are they deserving of this much attention
Edited on Sun Mar-01-09 08:16 PM by rpannier
I'm asking this given that mitt 'piece of sh*t' romney has won their presidential straw poll three years in a row, if they really were the pulse of the republikkan party "How come Mitt didn't get the nomination in 08?"

1. Probably because he follows the wrong religion
and has been iffy on those whole abortion and stem cell issues.

2. R, trust me. this is a good thing
the more Americans see these idiots as an organized force, the better it is for moderates and liberals to recall that we have duties and responsibilities, and the last time we relaxed, they came to power.

3. They are the far right wing of their party. McCain was closer to the center
since he wasn't a complete idiot on environmental issues.

The more the extremists get air time the better it is for us. Repukes have lost the middle and that is where elections are won.

4. I think that giving them some spotlight is a good thing.
It shows just how completely out of touch they are, and they gladly say they are the voice of the right.

A crowd's going to gather to point, gawk and laugh.

6. Chairman Mao pulled the same trick at least twice.
He set out sugar to attract the independent thinking flies. Of course they came, and he had his way with them.

Unfortunately, our Democratic party is neither deep thinking enough, or bright enough to take a historical example and apply it to today.

CPAC was just like the sugar that Mao spread out. Except, the Democrats still fail to take fool advantage of the situation. Luckily the GOP will continue to aim a 2x4 at its left temple, trying to exorcise the demons that reside within. We call that devil "rational thinking."

10. Oh, that wasn't it. Tucker's crime, apparently, is that he told them they had to be fact gatherers.
Everyone knows, Republicans don't need no steenking facts.
