Letter and bullet received 'threatening Nicolas Sarkozy's life
Anyone else here of this?

A French senator said Friday that he received a letter threatening his life and that of President Nicolas Sarkozy. The envelope also contained a bullet, Sen Jacques Blanc said.

He was the second senator to receive a death threat this month.

State prosecutor Rene Pagis said antiterrorist officers are investigating.
Mr Blanc, of the governing UMP party, told The Associated Press the letter also threatened government ministers, but he did not provide details.

Mr Blanc said he was travelling when the letter arrived at his office in La Canourgue, in south central France, where he is also the mayor. He said his secretary read it to him.

"This is unreal and crazy. These are dangerous games," he said.
On February 9, Sen Raymond Couderc, also a mayor and member of Sarkozy's UMP party, received an anonymous threat containing a bullet. Another UMP mayor, Marcel Roques, received a threat accompanied by a bullet in 2007.
