1. Is there something less likely than "not a chance in Hell"?
Because I would rate it about five levels below that.

Much safer to lob grenades from the stands.

4. I haven't noticed a lot of "accountability" from that side.
As I said, indigestion talking.

Rush has made his millions spreading his crap

he knows that he would go down in flames if he ever held a position in which he truly had to be accountable

7. Rush isn't even brave enough to debate democrats. He'd
pee himself if he ever had to tolerate anyone calling him on his shit.

9. Rush has finally crossed the threshold to "has been".
The country tried his brand of fascism and it was a monumental failure. Even the normally unconscious American electorate can smell shit when their noses are rubbed in it.

11. I wasn't thinking it would be a successful run. Just one to split
the party.

There's still that 27%-ish backwash sitting out there.

15. Alas, poor Rush isn't about to open his books to public scrutiny.
Not to mention his personal life. They couldn't even use the remains as fishbait.

14. Rush run?
No, he makes far too much money doing what he is doing. He also has much more influence in the position he is in now.

22. If the fat pig doesn't drop dead from a massive heart attack or stroke or
is thrown into jail for pedophilia he'll be asked to run. I hope he does run because it will mean the end to his ideology. People that fly to the Dominican Republic to have sex are too 'suspect' to have a viable run for anything unless it's the hillbilly heroin arm of the Re-Pubic Rat party.
