1. Brilliant explanation on NPR
Edited on Tue Mar-27-07 01:17 PM by BOSSHOG
She will tell the truth, she's just afraid that someone else will lie and get her in trouble. Cause that's exactly what happened to that honorable man scooter libby. Conservative values run amok.

2. I was wondering...what if she tells the truth and everyone else lies?
Edited on Tue Mar-27-07 01:20 PM by Raven
Could that be her problem? Or was she asked to cover up and did so? Use of RNC emails? Did she know that some of the firings were aimed at thwarting ongoing USA investigations and went along with it...obstruction of justice?

14. Good Christians only tell the truth to other Good Christians, lying to everyone else is OK.
The oath doesn't apply to them.

6. That's pretty easy for me.
She's already been fingered by McNulty who made false statements under oath before congress because of her.

Next question

13. McNulty probably lied/misled the Senate.
He seems to be fingering her as the one who gave him the disinfo. Who knows, they're all a bunch of damned liars.

17. She prepped him for his testimony
and give him false bs.

He knew that after he heard additional testimony given before the committee and contacted Schumer to tell him, so he would not be subject to his own criminal penalty under the False Statements Act.

10. I think she is in trouble for making McNulty lie to Congress.
Apparently there is a law that you can't cause someone else to lie to Congress. McNulty has already testified as to false information received from Goodling, so she is exposed to prosecution for that. Did anyone else hear this analysis wherever I did?

11. She is in a position of identifying who she was talking to at the WH
and back and forths and so on.

She has a great story to tell.

I hope that the committee doesn't let her get away with taking the fifth.

If any damn person can just take the 5th to avoid testifying, that ain't gonna sit well with anyone, even the Republicans. With this much blood already in the water you can bet they'll go after her. She just painted a big red target on herself.
