I've seen a lot of Etch-a-Sketch art that blows me away. I can't even make stairs.

5. my living
I am in the CNC customer support business and I tell many people that a CNC machine in principal is nothing more than an etch a sketch machine.

With 500 cubic inches, a 14-71 blower and 98% nitro, of course.

but there are some shared principals between the two machines.

I bet every one here that sees the pic is going in their minds: "Oh God, please don't turn the picture over!"

7. The article says they are able to preserve the picture after it's
done. I can't imagine how you do that with an etch-a-sketch, one little bump seems like it would ruin everything. He is incredibly talented, I can't make anything you would even recognize on a etch-a-sketch.

15. I've got to rec this.
I'm an artist and have the patience to work with many different mediums for 12 hour stretches or longer. The things that most find tedious I actually enjoy and get lost in doing, but I have NEVER made anything recognizable with Etch A Sketch(R), or lasted more than 5 minutes trying. Seriously, this is truly amazing to me.

So I'm always beyond amazed when I see things like that. I don't know how they do it.
