Are the Republicans going to run Holder in 2012?
Cause lord knows he has done more for their party in the last couple of weeks than any Republican.

Every time the Republicans look down and out for the count Holder swoops in with his cape flapping between his legs and rescues them. (Or Holder could be Lex Luthor in disguise.... I may have to look into this further)

Republicans desperately needed a savior after the State of the Union fiasco and "no kryptonite here" Holder has provided them with a rescue package from heaven. And made the rest of us Democrats look like lying tools.

Forget Sarah Forget Bobby.

I think Eric is the Republicans stealth candidate for 2012.

At the very least they owe him a gift card or fruit basket or something.

5. Well he keeps changing the conversation for the Republicans.
They were flatlining yesterday. Universal Health-care wasn't just on the table it was within reach. Their great hope for 2012 had just flubbed is SOTU rebuttal. America was discussing Democratic objectives.

Then Holder says we need to reintroduce the AWB.

He did what no Republican has been able to do. Give hope to the Republican party.

And this is the second time he has stolen the momentum from Obama (Calling Americans cowards was the first) and it is only February.

I'm just saying if the Republicans didn't have him in their corner they would be floating upside down in the pool.

It's hyperbole of course but there is a serious stay on message note here as well.

Do you have any evidence to support your supposition?

9. It is a tongue in cheek response to Holders timing in reintroducing the idea
of an assault weapons ban at the exact moment the Republicans were down on the mat and the count reached nine.

7. I don't think anybody knows who will be their pick in 2012.
To be fair, which they don't deserve, think about the Dems. Back in 2004, who did YOU think would be our candidate in 2008? I suspect most people would say Hillary, but few if anyone would have said Barack Obama!!!!
