Boy, I would get all those scans that they recommend so that diseases are detected early. But no F. way would my insurance company recommend for the reason of early detection. I bet they'd even get a good laugh out of it. The non-health care system is working just fine.

10. I would love to know what I injured on the treadmill 5 years ago
that has caused me considerable pain ever since. It happened right after we gave up the insurance because we couldn't afford it and while I was on a "get-in-great-shape-and-stay-very-healthy-until-we-get-a-Democrat-in-office" program.

16. Get the flaming-liberal-Democrat commie-pinko-feminist chip removed from my brain for a while.
I need a rest. I need to stop thinking and worrying and obsessing over every news story in the paper. I'd to know what it's like to be a stupid sheep for a while, only caring about myself and how I can hold onto all my ill-gotten gains. Scratch that. I'll keep the chip in. I'd like to get all of my moles removed, so I won't have to worry about them turning cancerous later.

17. I like to be treated for my diabetes
I have no health insurance. quarterly visits to the doctor for monitoring and basic diabetes meds would be nice, but I can't afford it. :( Instead I get to look forward to kidney failure, amputation and blindness.

a full check-up since I haven't seen a doctor in over a decade. I'd follow up on that as necessary. I'd have some moles and skin tags removed. I'd get the dental work done that I need. I get some new glasses. Even though I have some signficant vision impairment I haven't had new glasses in several years now. I'd opt out of the elective stuff. But I'd get the basic care that I am currently doing without.

19. Not for me, but for all the Conservatives/Republicans out there:
A Plexiostomy. That's surgery that puts a clear plastic window in your abdomen so you can see where you're going with your head that far up your ass. Or maybe a Cranial/Rectal reversal to just get their head out of their ass to begin with.

I take heat from my wife all the time about not going for physicals and getting checked for cancers, high cholesterol, etc. even though my insurance pays for it all. I'll just drop dead one day and the autopsy will tell everyone why.

21. I'd get my teeth checked.
I don't have any obvious problems, but I haven't been to the dentist in so long I can't remember the last time -- sometime back in the '90s when I was still working and had modest dental insurance -- so I probably have a cavity or two tucked away. Dentists are just way too expensive even for preventive care, so it's been something I've put off.

Tired of having furrows in my shoulders and a permanent backache. I suspect a reduction would also alleviate several other chronic aches and pains I have.
