-Just coz yer "the Decider"?

If US AGs "serve at the pleasure of the President", how come your staff fired them without your knowledge, bush, you being "out of the loop" and all?

-Just coz your entire staff is so incompetent and you're too incompetent & helpless to keep them in line?

You sure do have a problem with that incompetent staff you can't seem to keep in line, just always leaving you "out of the loop".

1. If he's ALWAYS out of the loop, how the hell can he be doing his job?
It's ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE!

2. W is the worst executive this country has ever had
But his world corporate bank account has never been larger. You really think he gives a damn about Americans?

3. I posted this on a list earlier
Bush says he didn't fire the attorneys, gonzales said he didn't, Goodling won't tell. Who fired the attorneys. The law says bush is the one who appoints or fires. So if he didn't do it who did I ask again.

But they were appointed by the president, in this case by the "W".

13. It is freakin' cronyism and rule by some
sophomoric decree. A very bold experiment gone completely awry...

4. His presidentin' style is a variation on that old Steve Martin bit: "I Forgot".
in Bu$h World ya can't be held accountable if ya don't know what's goin' on.

7. From what I've read (thanks to some fellow DUers for great resource materials)...
...Bush can't have it both ways. Either he was involved and has the right to invoke executive privilege or he wasn't involved and no such privilege is available to him.

8. Nice! You've formulated a pretty deadly indictment there!
It simply can't be possible that all the things that Bush is saying are simultaneously true; the question then is which lie(s) will be the fatal one(s)?

10. that puzzles me too
If they are going to use the phrase "serve at the pleasure of the pRezident*" wouldn't it be up to him to fire them?

So, that sets up one of two scenarios.

He was indeed "out of the loop" and the AGs were fired without *W's authorization? Way to go George, that's some hands on management right there buddy :eyes:

Or:

He was "in the loop" and he's lying his ass off.

Either way, not good for Dimson*

11. And if the e-mails weren't on government servers
Then there's no "executive privilege," because the hirings and firings were . . . political. Just like we've been saying all along.
