5. Some of us, even though employed, still are not able to donate
because of today's economy. I wish I could. I was a donor until a year or so ago, but even the small amount I would need to donate is the difference between buying groceries or gas to get to work. Pinching pennies is my everyday quest.
I'd love to be able to donate, but I'm seriously hurting after my wife being unemployed through the Bush recession(s)/depression(s) - and we're taking pretty serious steps to try to fix that...donations to ANYTHING are out for now.
I sure appreciate that someone donated a heart for me, though. I encourage anyone who CAN to donate. I hope to be able to someday...when our finances finally improve...hopefully.
I really did. I just don't have the money to donate again. I would love to give out more hearts. I noticed a few heartless DUers today and wanted so badly to give them one, but....
