Palin's sister denying her "cooperation" with new Palin book
Ruh-roh...wonder what she may have let out of the bag?? For starters, there is a lot of questioning over the sister's comments in the book that Bristol was staying with her, going to school and working two coffee shop jobs for the second half of the last school year.
OK....given previous reports that Bristol was MIA from school for 5 months in Anchorage (Dec 2007 til Trig's birth in April 2008) with MONO there was not a whole lot of schooling going on. Sooo, was she working in the coffee shops with mono???
So she didn't cooperate but she gave the author family photos and only talked to him because she thought the McCain camp was wanting her to do so?

I mention this in the story on the main site, but Stapleton confirmed something that until now had only been anonymously reported: That Palin has hired D.C. lawyer Robert Barnett to talk to publishers.

And finally, moments ago, Stapleton sent this statement from Heather Bruce, Palin’s sister, who was interviewed for the book and contributed photos. (Benet thanks her in the acknowledgements):

"On behalf of my entire family, it's troubling to read and hear Lorenzo Benet boast about his access to our family and my 'cooperation' with his recent book about my sister. Since Benet began writing this book in September, he has repeatedly misrepresented himself to me and to my family. In fact, the only time I 'cooperated' with him was in September when he told me the campaign wanted me to speak with him. That was disingenuous. I don't plan to read his book."

1. I don't want to insult people who live in modular homes . . .
Because such living arrangements can be quite comfy and cost-effective.

But you have to make sure about the reliability of municipal services to such communities, or the buildup of waste (ambulatory and otherwise) can seriously compromise your quality of life -- and even reputation.

2. Is Palin "writing" it? Oh please! I can't wait for her book tour!
Please keep this woman in the news as long as possible!

LOL!

3. Geez, the whole damn family is "going rogue"!
Her sister tries to grab a little bit of the limelight for herself by blabbing to a biographer and Bristol throws abstinence under the bus in her interview with GVS.

No WONDER Bible Spice doesn't have time to deal with Emmonak- she's too busy trying to put fancy, spinning icing on the moose pies her relatives keep dropping.

5. Going by her sister's statement, she shared all this with the author back in Sept 2008
and before.
Given that, when she said how Bristol was living with her, going to school, working 2 coffee shop jobs, etc...it was before news broke that Bristol was pregnant. That news then broke and got a shitload of media and bloggers trying to put together a timeline for Bristol, right down to them going to the Anchorage school and asking the kids about her--the kids there were the ones who said she was MIA with mono--for 5 months (Dec 07- April 08)--the Wasilla principal was even interviewed and said the Palins pulled Bristol out mid year from his school and he had no clue why...later the official story was she went to live with her aunt in Anchorage.
IMO, when the sister was telling all of this to the author, the Palins had NO CLUE what shitstorm was heading their way, no idea that Bristol's every move (heh, or school attendence record) would be soooo scrutinized.

Too late for the sis to go BACK and tell the author "um, scratch that stuff I told you, OK?".
Palin knows this. The sister knows this. So now it is deny, deny, deny since bloggers are picking the book apart looking for (and finding) contradictions.

4. The book tells about Palin hiding her pregnancy from her children.
So she as an elected official not only deceived her constituents but her own family as well.

6. this may explain why there was no paid Palin/People mag interview/pics
The article said that the author was an "assistant People magazine editor". If Palin is/was so pissed about the book, and the author works for People, she may have taken out her revenge by nixing any deal she had planned on having with them.
