The brilliant and hella-funny Randi Rhodes, off the air for now.

PCP. Peyote. Embalming fluid. Nicaraguan horse dung. See, I'm trying to figure out what the hell's in the water cooler over at Nova M, as owners Anita Drobny and hubby Sheldon point the nose of the plane toward the ground and up the speed. Believe me, I say this as a pal of the station, but Nova M seems to be peeling away any reason I have to listen to the damn thing.

The meltdown's been going on since before Nova M's move down the dial from 1480 AM to 1190 AM, with many of the staff either walking or being let go, including local talent Jeff Farias, who currently does his own live, online streaming video show at thejefffariasshow.com. All Nova M's got left locally during the week is the execrable Mike Newcomb, who could give a bucket of Sherwin Williams a run for its money, excitement-wise.

Now Randi Rhodes has taken leave of the place. Randi Rhodes!? Christ, she's one of the very few real draws that the station has. Genuinely funny and sharp, with a fan base that could rival that of the Oakland Raiders in loyalty, it seems they've let her go or pissed her off to the point she's washed her hands of the losers. Check this message on the Nova M site from airwave dragon-lady Anita Drobny:

To all of Randi's listeners;

You are all correct - I have not had the option to disclose what has been happening between Randi and Nova M...

You see, it's in her contract that she has total control, but, after Wednesday night, I want you all to know that Nova M has done everything we can to get her back on the air.

All this is her choice; if she wants to tell you all what the issue is, then I hope she does, but I can't according to her contract rules.

But I can tell you this I have wanted her back on the air. She's an amazing talent and needs to be heard.

Thank you all for all of your support.

Randi now has to make her decisions as to what she must do with her career...

Is that the most unprofessional, condescending note you've ever read, or what? I've got some news for Mrs. Drobny. If your primary selling point nationally is left-wing gasbag Mike Molloy, who could give Brother Theodore lessons in lunacy (if Theo was still with us, God rest his nutty soul), you might as well sell the station and buy a Jack in the Box franchise.

Today I learn that the tres left-wing show Desert Politics, hosted by PHX Democratic stalwart Todd Landfried has been replaced, hopefully briefly, by a vitamin pay-per-hour infomercial?

I called Landfried up, and he confirmed the rumor that he won't be on today at 1 pm, as normal. But he says he hopes to be back on next week in a different time slot. Landfried's show is very popular with Valley liberals, so let's hope Nova M doesn't eff him over. Landfried didn't seem to be at odds with the station or anything, but this latest move by Nova M is very disturbing considering recent history.

I'm beginning to buy that whole argument by the Republinuts that left-wing talk radio is doomed to failure. If Nova M becomes the repository of hour long commercials about the health benefits of enemas and phony investment shows, along with various assorted hacks during the week, what's the point? Holy Swiss cheese, Batman, can't my fellow pinkos get their friggin' act together?

Randi gets national exposure with AAR, her big opportunity. John Manzo becomes her producer, then leaves AAR for Nova M.

Randi then calls national dem figures f'ing whores at an AAR sponsored event, then whines that AAR is persecuting her, though she's the one, according to her, that chose to take herself off the air.

Then suddenly, within days, she's back with John Manzo at Nova M, where he's just been promoted to CEO.

With rumors of a hostile takeover, John Manzo is fired from Nova M, along with other Nova M people "loyal" to Manzo.

Randi says nothing, no support for Nova M, Manzo, or the employees fired.

Then on the same day John Manzo files a lawsuit against Nova M, Randi drops off the air. Randi's minions are all crying and pulling their hair out over how Nova M could do this, though again it's apparently Randi's decision, not Nova M.

Seems to me if you leave a trail of burned bridges behind you, eventually someone will question who exactly it is burning the bridges, unless it involves Randi Rhodes of course.

Last time I listened, the only ads on her show were for hypnotized weight loss, buying gold, or cream for old women to put on their faces while they sleep. Do these advertisers represent the "... fan base that could rival that of the Oakland Raiders in loyalty"?

Randi has done everything in her power to scuttle her own career by attacking fellow broadcasters, her employers, national figures that don't deserve the gutter mouthed goddesses scorn, or any of the multiple tv hosts that have had to tell her to shut the f up and let someone else speak.

It's sad really, there used to be some value to her show. Anymore it's just about Randi's vanity and her constant victimhood.

I think Randi's imagined "war on Randi" is even bigger than O'Reilly's "war on Christmas"...

You are wrong, my dear. Randi did stick up for all of the people who got fired as soon as she got back from DC. She was pissed and she said so right on the air.

I have news for all of you Randi-haters. Whenever capitalism gets in the way of the truth, anyone with a conscience will take to the wind and live the humblest of lives before lowering themselves to give up their dignity. The only reason you put her down is because you don't have any dignity, which makes it easy to try and claim hers.

You know what? Randi inspires her listeners NOT to listen to her, but to go do their homework and find out the truth on their own. She has already inspired millions of Americans to do just that and nothing that happens from this day forward can change that fact.

Here's a piece of my mind and what I've been thinking about. The banks and the car companies are taking the hit for all of the crap brought onto this country by the globalization movement. Yea, they're guilty of a lot of things, but looking back isn't going to help us out of the mess the Corporate EXECUCABINET got us into. We can't stop globalization and we cannot turn back time. We are still trying to live in the industrial age when we are well into the information age. So, let's go with it.

Those that forget history are destined to repeat it. Remember the civil war? Was that so different? The south wanted to keep slavery because it was good for business. Let's pretend that today, the south is any foreign country with people making goods for all of the businesses that have packed up and moved operations out of the U.S. so they could stop paying living wages, taxes, stop building their own buildings, buying land, paying workman's compensation, adhering to labor laws, and start employing people for cents on the dollar. Some would argue that those people seriously need that money and if we brought the industry back to America they would starve. That's my point. We can't go back. So let's stop trying to live in the industrial age. We gave it to them. Let them keep it.

Here's what we need to do. Invest in the information age. Invest in green technology. Invest in schools. Let me say that again because it is the most important thing that everyone is afraid to or doesn't want to hear: invest in SCHOOLS. While I am at it, invest in research and universities. It is time for our children to achieve Einstein like greatness. More factories is not the answer. More technological advances and more high paying jobs is the answer. Our universities are losing so much clout because they have been forced into becoming a business. They are all buying out the tenure of the most prominent professors and they are being forced, due to low budgets to hire adjunct professors and graduate assistants to teach undergraduate courses more and more. Doctoral students can't find chairs for their committees because there aren't enough tenured professors to go around. They're all becoming swamped and tired from overwork. At this rate, universities are hurting and students suffer. That said, school children are attending schools in highly dilapidated conditions. They are losing funding every year, when they should be gaining funding. Now, I know why schools get the shaft is because everyone with money is okay with their schools if they have children. No problem.

So, that begs the question. What kind of America do you want? A smart, nuanced one with young adults ready to go out there with integrity and show the world what America can do with some ingenuity or one that has returned to the polluted waste land, with an ever growing amount of trash, nuclear waste, dried up wetlands, and growing multitudes of poverty stricken children, teens, and young adults with no hope for any kind of future, hating the world, and ready to do whatever they have to just to get by in Sam Walton's parking lot.

As long as it's not in your back yard right? Well, your back yard is getting smaller and smaller. If we don't move forward now to a smarter America, even Walmart won't survive it. All you people who don't agree with me better start packing and follow IBM, Nike, and all of the other businesses overseas right out of the country. Your bigotry smells and you make me sick. By the way, Randi'll be just fine and so will all of her listeners. She taught us well.

Law of the Sea Treaty. Loss of our Merchant Marine, fisheries, attacks upon Naval Officers, 97% of all cargo coming into the US is on foreign flag ships now, and so much more.

Only one person has had the "HUEVOS" to go where no one else will go and not in a GEORGE NOORY or ART BELL or ALEX JONES fashion, but to seroiusly report on and try and explain and bring information to the masses that is not being covered by others.

To even "BREAK" news....

Only one person has taken the time to receive, read and go through some of the documentation showing just exactly what is going on and how serious it is, at least in what I have been trying to report upon.

That person was and still is JEFF FARIAS who was open-minded enough, curious enough, intelligent enough, and far more P-A-T-R-I-O-T-I-C then many others to get his mind around it, and to report upon it.

Tom Hartman was handed copies of the TRANSCRIPTS from Homeland Security proceedings and did nothing with it.

Not even a peep of a question or request for more information.

Same for LOU DOBBS who was handed them personally by me with a request to look into what is and has been going on and he has done absolutely nothing.

Same for Mike Malloy who was sent copies of them via Nova M and he did nothing, but slam me on the air and make some snide remarks. Randi was not much better and kind of laughed off what was attempted to be reported upon on her show.

You really have to start taking a closer look at who these people are, where they came from, what they are really doing and saying and promoting.

As one example the ADVERTS slamming the US DOLLAR and pumping up GOLD help out the European Royalty and their Agents like the ROTHSCHILDS who set the price of gold twice daily. Also slamming the dollar and what is "AMERICAN" is kind of un-American especially when promoting the "ways of others who are living in foreign KINGDOMS.

You have to start really thinking much deeper as to what the ramifications of all of this have. Like repetitive ADVERTS on bankruptcy, the "trashing" of America and Americans unless they are individuals like Rudy Guilliani or Greenspan or Kissinger and others who have all sold us out for their European masters. Why would our Founding Fathers pass the TITLES OF NOBILITY ACT in the first years of the 19th century and why would the BRITS burn the White House in response and try and wipe the original 13th Amendment from our minds?

Big Brother = Shadow Government = our European Royal Relations who have been playing games in our politics since our Revolution and Independence.

Those who are trying to reinvigorate the world wide system of UNITED KINGDOMS and to destroy all Republics and all Democracies and any other form or "self-governance."

Homeland Security needs to be dissolved.

Now.

It was to be originally named "HOMELAND DEFENSE", but they thought that people might come around and finally start to ask why we need "TWO" <2> Departments of "Defense."

Look into INTEGRATED COAST GUARD SYSTEMS. Lockheed. The TWIC card and the new BIO-METRIC cards for transportation workers as being developed by Admiral Loy with Lockheed and others as the new NATIONAL ID CARD, and more.

Only Jeff has had these topics on his show and much, much more.

All of the other shows and "talent" are 6 months to a YEAR behind Jeff on breaking and explaining much of all of this and bringing on guests to warn and inform everyone what is headed your way.

The "lock out" on the media is not just in the Corporate mainstream media, but in many others so called alternative players as well. ONLY Jeff Farias and a few others have the intellectual curiosity to even try and take the time to figure out what is going on and he has reported upon a slew of important issues and information that NO ONE ELSE HAS OR WILL EVEN COME CLOSE TO.

Time to start fighting and fighting hard to keep and further promote some of the more INDEPENDENT minded individuals like Jeff Farias to ensure that they are there to help open up the airways once again.

Jeff needs your support and people need to start putting their money and their butts on the line and start standing up for and fighting for what is right and for those who do not believe in sacred cows.

Jeff has done a great deal for me personally, in keeping me out there and my head above water to a higher degree then would have been possible with out his help and him having me on the air as he has done.

Jeff has been filling in for me on my own show as my voice is gone, and I've been trying to repay the favor by giving him more broadcast and media exposure wherever I can so as to promote his show.

IMPORTANT NOTE.

The Administraitve Law Judge/ Military Law Judge/ Lieutenant Commander who has been "presiding" over my own case, and is a former Direct Commisioned Offifcer in the Coast Guard himself, and was involved in the 911 Trust Fund cases and in stealing from the Trust Fund along with Special Master Kenneth Feinberg and others, is now being NOMINATED to become a FEDERAL JUDGE or FEDERAL JUSTICE in the CIRCUIT APPELLATE courts for VIRGINIA. This is exactly what happened with ALEX KOSINKSI who now sits atop the 9th circuit and was censured for 43 Seantors for teaching others how to break the whistle blower protection laws when he was Chief Counsel for OSC. They are promoting incompetence and corruption.

ALJ Walter J. Brudzinski is on a short list to become a JUDGE OR JUSTICE and this must be stopped or many others will suffer from what this man is capable of.

The REAL news is out there waiting to be told and reported upon.

I didn't notice comment from the Drobny's in this article, or even an attempt to get comment from them, before making that accusation. Why is that? Are you sure it's the Drobnys who have been "pointing the nose of the plane toward the ground" here? Or are they the ones trying to keep it from crashing? Some actual reporting here might have helped.

Calling her "dragon-lady" a few paragraphs later is just obnoxious (and equally as misleading and dis-serving to readers).

Then Mr. Lemons commented on Jeff Farias's exit, implying that he was "let go", while hedging bets to say he may have "walked". Again, some _reporting_ there would have better served readers.

To add that "All Nova M's got left locally during the week is the execrable Mike Newcomb," without noting that all they had left _before_ was Jeff Farias in that same slot, again misleads readers, no matter how execrable Mike Newcomb may or may not be.

And finally, to commenter Dennis Gilman who said, "Jeff Farias was canceled the week of the Election when we really needed Jeff on the air." Jeff was not pushed, Jeff walked, as actual reporting - had it been done by Mr. Lemons - might have revealed. Mr. Farias could have been on the air today at NovaM, but he chose to leave.

Progressive talk radio has its problems no doubt. But "progressive" columns in "news papers" like this certainly don't help the cause. Instead of responsible reporting which could help their progresive brethren in radio, it seems the New Times has chosen the easy way out, by hurling feces instead. Well done, Mr. Lemons.
