Amy Carter was a singleton child, ..so was Chelsea, and the Bush twins were "grown up"..Those two little girls must be having a ball, checking out all the cool hiding places, and wandering in and out of all those rooms..checking out the kitchen, and all the libraries..

An experience like that, shared with a sister (or brother) HAS to be a special experience..

Having someone close to you in age, to share it all with, has to make it doubly delicious..

Can't you just see some edgy SS person frantically wondering where "those two" are, and just when he/she should fess up to the "boss", that the girls are MIA ..and just then, they show up..giggling:)

1. Not as much fun as they'd be having there with a puppy!
Geez, Obama and his broken promises. We want accountability!

5. It's all fun and games...
Until they step into the portal to that alternate dimension where Gore won, and they decide not to come back

7. There's no "wondering" going on.
They can find them via the motion sensors and 'other means' in an instant.

That place is wired six ways to Sunday, too. It's a fishbowl.

The bloom will be off the rose in a couple of months, when they can't go out anywhere without an entourage. The loss of privacy is tough, especially on kids. They're fortunate that they're reasonably young--it's horrible for teenagers, both mid and late teens. You've got that awkward thing, the hormones thing, and people sucking up to you because your dad is the President. Hideous!

9. Actually, my guess would be is that they are missing their friends in Chicago...
It might be fun for awhile, but then reality sets in that they have left their world behind, which includes all of there friends.

10. On their first night in the WH they had a sleepover.
Mom and Dad had to be out all night at those Inaugural Ball things. It was the first night in a strange place for the girls. And great parents that the Obamas are they allowed the girls to invite some of their Chicago friends to the WH, along with the Biden grandchildren, for a pajama party. A scavenger hunt gave them an opportunity to explore (they found the Jonas Brothers in a closet!). Great fun.

14. I am really torn
I really want to know the details, what they are doing, etc. But I respect their right to privacy, and I think the Obama's are doing the right thing. Damn, what the hell is wrong with me? I am Obama kid obsessed.

15. I think the biggest factor won't be the White House.
It will be how much they like their new school compared to their old one. And how they're doing with friends.
