4. The documentary was outstanding... Greenspan was pathetic.

Basically he said there was nothing he could have or would have done. Unbelievable.

6. Wasn't he? He KNEW what was happening, and he CHOSE

to do nothing, BUT ...HE bailed before it all crashed ..on his watch...

W, knew too...but he too hoped it would all hold together long enough to fail on the next person's watch..

It all NEEDED to crash in 2003 or 4, but there was an election to steal..

If Greenspan and the SEC had done their JOBS, we would be closer to recovery by now:grr:

5. It was very sobering. There are no easy solutions -- in fact there are no soltuions period.

What happened was financial fantasyland. America has to undergo a massive correction and there is no way around it. The best Geithner and the Fed can do is slow the hemorraging and ease the pain and hope the whole thing does not come apart at the seams.
