Problem with truth and reconciliation approach to Bush/Cheney crimes...
What will we do with those army grunts who were sent to prison for following Rumsfeld's torture orders? If I recall correctly, they tried to introduce evidence that they were following orders at their court martials and were barred from doing so.

They tried to tell the truth, were prevented from doing so, and instead of a reconciling hug, got sent to prison.

Likewise, how will any judge be able to send Rod Blagovich to prison when the Bushies practiced far more blatant acts of patronage?

Couldn't any politician accused of unconstitutional behavior or even crimes throw down the ''truth and reconciliation'' towel when he is about to be prosecuted?

Why should be have a different process for the retarded child of privilege and his families lifelong Igor than we do for average Americans?
