I was just flipping through the channels trying to find who was covering the entire press conference b/c CNN cut away.

Faux had the following on their screen:

INVESTIGATORS WANT TO KNOW WHY FLIGHT 3407 CRASHED

Oh! THAT'S why they're investigating. No shit.

5. Remember their audience.
It is worded in a way to suggest it 'might' be their worst fear - which would be terrorism. It is just a way to stir up fear, even if it is short term.
