A Benchmark In The Recent NoSpendingWarFundingPeaceBill
Edited on Sun Mar-25-07 11:01 PM by Jcrowley
The passage of an oil law that will open up Iraq’s vast reserves to exploitation by US energy conglomerates.

War is Peace

How in the hell would NO SPENDING BILL FOR MORE WAR IN IRAQ count as a "victory" for Sheriff Dick Cheney's propaganda catapulter, Deputy Dubya Bush? NO SPENDING BILL means NO SPENDING which means that the Cheney/Bush cabal have to start robbing other accounts for their war, which will mean breaking the law, which will mean even more defeats for them until they bring the troops home as the American people demand. Furthermore, how in the hell does giving the lying, incompetent bastards their blood money count as a "victory."

Our Republic's founders didn't WANT us agreeing to fund out-of-control standing Armies and monarch presidents who abused them for their own partisan political purposes.

Just like with Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon. No matter how you voted, you got more of Vietnam.
