From the end credits of "Two and a Half Men" and "Big Bang Theory"

CHUCK LORRE PRODUCTIONS, #240
A wise man once told me that we are all God in drag. I like that. Sometimes when I'm in a public place or sitting at a stop light, I'll watch people walking by and I'll silently say to myself, "He's God. She's God. He's God. She's God." Before long I always find myself feeling a warm sense of affinity for these strangers. The experience is even more powerful when I do this while observing a person who is clearly suffering. On occasion I'll test my little spiritual practice by turning on Fox News. Within minutes I become an atheist.

and here's a good one too:

CHUCK LORRE PRODUCTIONS, #239

TO DO LIST

Live to see a highly educated, deeply thoughtful, articulate, cool, biracial President who is not overly crippled by childhood wounds and capable, in no particular order, of freeing the nation of its oil dependence, restoring its international standing, creating universal health care, resurrecting the economy, ending two wars, rebuilding the public education system, finally bringing about an end to the mindlessness of racism, encouraging science and technology, firmly addressing environmental issues and global warming, and uniting the nation - and the world - in a giant cultural, tipping point leap forward.

Meet super-intelligent aliens who disarm the entire planet, cure every disease and take us all for rides across the galaxy.

Play a round of par golf.

Trade solos with Eric Clapton.

Win an Emmy.

Get married, stay married.

One down, five to go.

1. I LOVE The Big Bang Theory. I'm sorry, but I'm such a nerd
Last night's show was just too hilareous for me.

Thanks for posting that, I see that quick flash of text and wondered what it was (just not enough to pause it and actually read it, though)

7. I missed it because it came on at 9:30pm.
We were watching the wonderful Johnny Cash on TNT movie with super handsome Phoenix and totally forgot about it.

We love The Big Bang.

11. Last night's "Big Bang Theory" had actress Christine Baranski playing
Leonard's neuroscientist psychoanalytical mother. Think of her as a mature female version of his OCD roommate Sheldon.

22. Yeah, based on their respective personalities, it seems the cosmic powers that be should have
switched families for Sheldon and Leonard. :D

10. Chuck Lorre started doing these "vanity cards" at the end credits of "Dharma and Greg"
The whole gallery of them is at the link, including many that were censored by the networks. I LOVE Big Bang Theory as well. Just bought season 1 on dvd because I missed quite a few. Their rendition of Journey's "Any Way You Want It" must have Steve Perry rolling over in his grave, and he's not even dead yet.

14. I wish they would lighten up on the laugh track...
The writing is brilliant, but the laugh track screws the timing up.

2. Mr. Lorre's vanity cards are awesome. First saw them on Dharma & Greg
I don't watch much TV so I didn't know if he had new shows on the air. So thanks for the heads up & the link.

19. OMG! You missed a classic.
We meet Leonard's mom, played by Christine Baranski. Leonard and Penny juuuuuust about get their freak on. Leonard's mom is such a cold, unloving person that Sheldon is smitten.

And Sheldon and Len's mom do the WORST Rock Band rendition of "Any Way You Want It".

Catch it on the rerun.:)

15. That is hilarious
Never noticed them...

Watched both at a friend's place and lmao. I don't watch much TV these days but my friend does. I have always loved Two and a Half Men and now Big Bang - which was hilarious this week.

# 239 is ironic as my friend, who will make jokes about anybody and often throws out slurs, kept hushing me while Obama was on. "Have you ever known any politician to just come out there and tell it straight like that?"

After the Pres was done, he said, "No, Thank you" to Obama (Obama had said thank you to the press.) He voted for him, very conservative Democrat, and he appears to truly admire the new Pres.

I'll have to pass this discovery along...
