Grrrr, she didn't have enough time to challenge all his fallacious thinking, but one egregious example was where he rationalized cutting some of the spending for education because he didn't think the fed should be interfering with state issues (education) - and he points to NCLB as a prime example. DUH... uh... dude... you're claiming that NCLB was a disaster because it mandated things that you weren't properly funded to implement (valid criticism) so your response to the opportunity for states' educational systems to get federal money to help them out (infrastructure stuff) is -- a loud resounding NO!! ?????

Wait a minute, WHAT??

NCLB has been a massive financial charlie foxtrot and so now when fed money is potentially being squirted back your way, you want to REFUSE it on the grounds that the feds have no place in state educational issues?

Horse outta the barn door and all that, eh??

Sheesh!
